<h3>Analysis Paralysis</h3>
<p>Analysis paralysis is where you can&#8217;t take any action due to over thinking about the details or over planning and is one of the best &#8220;action&#8221; killer we can possibly find. Planning definitely help when we are starting a new project but it should not be to the extent that it overwhelm us and cause us to fail to make a decision and take action.</p>
<p>I had met this scenario before where I had a great idea but failed to do anything about it because of analysis paralysis. I did too much brain storming and planning, only to find that I never took any action to make the idea work because of the problems I thought of during my brain storming session.<span id="more-602"></span></p>
<p>Due to too many failed ideas just because <strong>I did not take any action</strong>, I decided to take the plunge and launch my blog without much planning. I did not think about how my blog would look like or even give a thought about my lack of IT skills, I just jumped in and <a href="http://www.healthmoneysuccess.com/284/are-your-reading-enough/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">learn everything</span></a> along the way. To my surprise, this way of action works well for me for this time.</p>
<p>In order to help others to combat analysis paralysis, I had generated a list of 10 tips that will be able to help you overcome the problem.</p>
<h3>7 Tips To Help Overcome Analysis Paralysis</h3>
<h5>1.Plan</h5>
<p>You still need a plan no matter what, but this time round, over planning is not allowed. Think of what are the things that you need to know before you start and get a grasp of it. Brain storm for what would be the most painful thing to change and get more information and make a wiser decision. Be sure to know what are the things that could <a href="http://www.healthmoneysuccess.com/313/do-you-give-up-easily/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">possibly go wrong</span></a> and try to prevent it.</p>
<h5>2.Set a Deadline For Your Planning Session</h5>
<p>Allocate a deadline for your planning session and be strict with yourself and only spend that certain amount of time for planning. When we have a specific time slot for planning, we will have a lesser tendency to over plan.</p>
<h5>3.Just Start</h5>
<p>When you had finished your planning session, stop asking yourself &#8220;what if&#8221; questions. Just start doing it and learn everything that you do not know along the way.</p>
<h5>4.Forgo Perfection</h5>
<p>I know there is a Mr/Mrs Perfection inside you and you want to get everything perfect on the get go but it is highly not possible that everything will turn out the way you want to be in the first place. Just forget about perfection and start taking action.</p>
<h5>5.Momentum</h5>
<p>Once you start your project, do not stop and think too much again. Just have a list of to-do items, regardless whether it is big or small and keep on completing the task.</p>
<h5>6.Learn To Make Decision</h5>
<p>This is an important skill that can help to overcome analysis paralysis. By knowing how to make a faster and wiser decision, we can take action faster and get more things done. Practice your decision making skills by setting a 5 seconds rule to make your daily decision. (Exp: What beverage am I going to have? Coke or lemon tea.)</p>

<p>Find someone who is able to take action easily. Whenever you are stuck with analysis paralysis, find them and talk to them about your problem. Most likely you will get a positive reply and get the momentum you need to get going.</p>

<p>This tips had work fine for me in helping me to take action and also to achieve results. Analysis without action does not help you to have any kind of positive results. <h3>Myths About Being Rich</h3>
<p>When I say the word millionaire, what pops up in your mind? I believe that you must be thinking that a millionaire must own a yacht and, live in some mansion and even drive a Ferrari. I believe that the media had influenced us to have all this mental images in when we think about millionaires, but it is not 100% true.</p>
<p>Most of the self made <a href="http://www.healthmoneysuccess.com/319/successful-millionaire/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">millionaire are actually frugal</span></a> and they do not splurge their hard earned money on liabilities. Instead, they protect their capital and also invest it intelligently to make their <strong>money work for them</strong> instead of them working for the money.<span id="more-500"></span></p>
<p>In my pursuit of being wealthy, I am observing closely how the rich behave and what are their money habits. By observing their behavior, we can unlock the mystery of why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.</p>
<h3>The Poor Man Way Of Spending Money</h3>
<p>The first thing when a poor man get his salary is thinking what he can spend his salary on to get instant gratification and it is a drastic difference from how a rich man spend his money.</p>
<p>The poor spend their money that they earn on liabilities instead of assets. Liabilities are things that take money out of your pocket and some examples would be the 42 inch LCD TV, home theater set or the Gucci handbags. Once the money are spent on liabilities, it is gone and the there will not be any opportunity of utilizing the money to make it work for them. This is why the poor get poorer.</p>
<h3>The Rich Man Way Of Spending Money</h3>
<p>How about the rich man way of spending money? When they have the money, they <strong>do not seek instant gratification</strong> and get themselves a Ferrari. Instead they are doing it the other way round. They constantly seek out assets that will help to grow their wealth.</p>
<p>This is the big difference between the rich and the poor. They always pay themselves first and are always finding ways to create passive income. If they keep spending their money on assets that help them to grow their wealth, they can only get wealthier and wealthier.</p>
<h3>My Story</h3>
<p>I was consistently broke in the past because of my poor money habits. I splurge on liabilities instead of assets and I can remember that my savings was always near the zero mark. It was until one day that I was so fed up of myself and my bank account that I begin to <strong>take action.</strong></p>
<p>I started to read up books on personal development and finance and spend lots of time researching on how to become wealthy. Having done my research and equipped with my new knowledge, I begin to create budgets, <a href="http://www.healthmoneysuccess.com/124/cures-for-a-lean-purse/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">track my expenses</span></a> and got myself into the world of investing.</p>
<p>Gradually I can see my savings increase and it makes me just more thirsty for knowledge to increase my wealth.</p>
<p>I am seeing my friends splurging on night clubs, booze, LCD TVs and many other liabilities and it is definitely not the way I want to be like. Instead, I was slowly picking up assets like stocks and educating myself in personal finance, all this for the sake of financial freedom, because I know how much it hurts to stick to a 9 - 5 job and <strong>how valuable freedom is.</strong></p>
<h3>Parting Words</h3>
<p>Start today, pay attention to what you are buying and minimize spending on liabilities. If you have debts, make a plan to clear off you debts first before the interest actually eat you up. Whenever you get your salary, make it a habit to pay yourself first and make it a consistent contribution of at least 10% of your salary into your savings account.</p>
<p>Having 2 bank accounts really help here. Allocate one for spending and another for savings. Make sure you do not touch your savings account and you can see it grow.</p>
<p>Spending your money on<strong> personal education is important </strong>as education is an asset that will increase your wealth . People can take away your physical assets but there is no way to take your knowledge away from you. Do not think that education is expensive because ignorance is even more costly. Start to invest in seminars and books to improve your financial literacy and see your money in the bank account grow.</p>
<p>Last but not least, <strong>take action</strong>. With all the knowledge in the world, without taking action, acquiring knowledge is just a waste of effort.</p>

<p>I own 2 guitars. One electric guitar and an acoustic. I love playing with them but recently I&#8217;m more into my acoustic guitar.</p>

<p>I had my 360 for around 2 years time and I really love my games. I believe it is a good way to relax and also a good way to train my hand-eye coordination. (An excuse to play more games? ;p)</p>

<p>I started reading about investing when I am around 19 and I bought my own stocks when I am 21. (I am 22 this year) I am currently still in the market even in this bad time and I am trying to find bargain stocks in this depressed market now.</p>

<p>Michael Jordan, Warren Buffett and Anthony Robbins. They had great influence in my life.</p>

<h3>30 Days Challenge For A Healthier Body</h3>
<p>Time really flies and this is the end of my 30 days challenge. It had been a challenging 30 days for me and I will share with you guys what I had picked up in these 30 days time.<span id="more-560"></span></p>

<h3>Post 30 Days Challenge Thoughts</h3>
<p>Yesterday was the last day of my challenge and I felt great after I accomplished the goal I set for myself. I had doubts at first on whether should I publish my challenge on my blog because I fear that it will be embarrassing if I failed in sticking to my challenge.</p>
<p>In the end, I decided to go with it and I do not regret it because by publicly announcing my challenge, it had definitely help me to be more focus and determined to succeed because people are watching my actions.</p>
<h3>My Challenges</h3>
<p>Before I started my challenge, I ate mostly bread for my snacks and it isn&#8217;t really helping me to shed the pounds. It is also challenging for me to remove any food that got to do with flour from my diet and certainly the huge number of bakeries in Singapore doesn&#8217;t help. I found that by removing processed starch from my diet, there isn&#8217;t really much varieties of food that I can snack on and this lead me to snack less and healthier as I was eating a lot more fruits as my snacks instead.</p>
<p>I do not have much complain about the veggie juice I had every morning except for the <a href="http://www.healthmoneysuccess.com/370/7-tips-to-remove-the-clutters-on-your-desk/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">cleaning up</span></a> and a one time blunder of &#8220;choking&#8221; myself with garlic. <em>(**Hey Bonnie, if you are reading this, just to let you know I&#8217;m not blaming you :))</em></p>
<p>I believe the veggie juice have an effect of boosting my energy because there was once I tried to have my juice in the afternoon instead to see will there be any effect on me and I found that I had trouble concentrating in writing my articles and was constantly lethargic. It was until I had my dose of juice in the afternoon, then I got the boost of energy to finish my article on that day.</p>
<p>I had consistently exercised for 6 days a week and I did missed some trainings but I will always make up for it on other days. With a mixture of resistance and cardio trainings, I had shed some pounds and overall I feel more confident, leaner, sharper and more energetic than I was before.</p>
<h3>Stats</h3>
<p>My weight before my 16 weeks challenge        &#8211;&gt; 160.6 lbs<br />
My weight before my 30 days challenge          &#8211;&gt; 152.9 lbs<br />
My weight at the end of my 30 days challenge &#8211;&gt; 147.4 lbs</p>
<p>Amount of pull ups I am able to do before my 16 weeks  challenge - 3<br />
Amount of pull ups I am able to do before my 30 days challenge - 8<br />
Amount of pull ups I am able to do after my 16 weeks challenge - 11</p>
<p>After removing the extra few lbs from my body and adding on the muscles, I feel really &#8220;light&#8221; when I move around and it is really great to see myself in the mirror. <img src='http://www.healthmoneysuccess.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' title="Result Of My 30 Days Challenge" /> </p>
<p>Even though I do not have very clear definition of my 6 pack abs, I still can see the shape of it. I conclude that this is a successful 30 days challenge for me and I am <a href="http://www.healthmoneysuccess.com/257/learn-how-to-be-happy-andrew-matthews/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">very happy</span></a> with my result which is a healthier me.</p>
<h3>Conclusion</h3>
<p>Although this is the end of my 30 days challenge, I would like to regard it as a start instead of an end. Because of this challenge, I had cultivated some good habits and I do not want to let it go to waste. I will still exercise regularly and eat healthily to maintain my weight. Heath is something irreplaceable and is something that we should not take for granted.</p>

<p>How creative are you? On a scale of 1 to 10, how do you rate yourself?</p>
<p>Creativity is an important skill that help us to create boundless opportunities and make something out of nothing but most of the people think that they are dull, unoriginal and not the very least creative.</p>
<p>Creativity does not only confine to the musician, artist or writer. People in their normal day jobs such as chef, secretary or the staff at help desk need a dose of creativity too.<span id="more-528"></span></p>
<p>Between a dull chef and one that is so creative in using his ingredients and can whipped out dishes that are so much more appetizing and delicious, which chef do you prefer to go to? How about the secretary? Do you prefer one that is creative who can always help you to find a neat way to go around a problem and always offer you ideas when you are out of one or one that always do your bidding and need your instruction  all the time  to go around a problem?</p>
<p>The answer is obvious isn&#8217;t it?</p>
<h3>6 Tips To Unleash The Creative Genius Within You</h3>
<p>Here are 6 tips that can help you unleash the creative genius within you.</p>
<h5>1. Fear of uncertainty</h5>
<p>Creativity means innovating,creating or doing stuff in a new or refined way. This mean that you are going to step into a new area where you have not step in before and this may cause you to feel uncertain about it.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t ever let this be the reason to deter you from generating new ideas. If Steve Job is uncertain whether Apple&#8217;s next product will be as popular as iPod and does not innovate and create new products, I believe Apple won&#8217;t be as prosperous as now.</p>
<h5>2.I am not creative</h5>
<p>This is the common problem that people face when they complained about the lack of creativity in them. Maybe it is a past experience or your strict working environment that caused you to have the limiting mindset and it is true that some people are more creative than others but everyone is able to think and generate ideas.</p>
<p>Try not to compare yourself against the creative writers, musicians or the creative geniuses. Just start from where you are now and believe that you have the creative genius within you.</p>
<h5>3. Society Pressure</h5>
<p>People around you are so used to being conventional and acting different from them is certainly going to evoke some reaction from them, such as thinking that it is impossible for you to do this or that and the worst thing to do is actually believe them.</p>
<p>When you have a new and unique idea, regardless of whether your idea is to write a new book or start a business, just get started and <a href="http://www.healthmoneysuccess.com/171/8-tips-to-deal-with-insecurity/#more-171" target="_blank&quot;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">forget about the society pressure</span></a> that are exerted on your because you are in it for yourself, not for others.</p>

<p>As we grow older, creativity tend to wane and it is not because of our ability. It is because we are trying to act like an expert! Being an &#8220;expert&#8221;, we tend to demonstrate our knowledge to others and rebuke other ideas and one example that we will do when we are in an &#8220;expert&#8221; mode would be<em> &#8220;That wouldn&#8217;t work because they tried in in the 70s.&#8221;</em> This is a sure way of boosting our own ego and killing off the ideas.</p>

<p>When ideas are presented, do not reject it just because you are uncomfortable with it. Be open to ideas and if it is possible, make the idea work. The result may be amazing.</p>

Thierry Boudinaud named the wine Fat Bastard which describe a full and rich wine, and it is now selling over 400,000 cases per year in United States alone, shortly after it&#8217;s introduction. <p>This is what creativity brings. I believe Thierry Boudinaud would not have achieve this result if he named his wine with some similar names that can be found in his industry.</p>
<h5>6. Apply lateral thinking</h5>
<p>Whenever you are facing a problem, using lateral thinking will help you to address the problem in another aspect. Lateral thinking works by <a href="http://www.healthmoneysuccess.com/66/anthony-robbins-unlimited-power/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">reframing a current problem</span></a> into another question that will lead to an answer.</p>
<blockquote><p><em>There is a company whose headquarter is located at a tall building. The staff always complained about how slow is the elevator and the amount of time wasted waiting for it. The building manager thought about the problem and installed mirrors outside the elevators. Surprisingly, the problem just went away.</em></p>
<p><em>Why? The staff begin to admire themselves in front of the mirrors and tidy up their appearance instead of waiting frustratingly for the elevator. How many do not like to admire themselves? Problem solved.</em></p></blockquote>
<p>Creativity is needed in solving problems and those who have this quality are definitely highly sought after because of the value they can provide and also they are great problem solvers. Luckily, creativity is an attribute that you can improve on if you put a little effort into it. <p>You&#8217;ve been there before. It&#8217;s not like it was one thing that set you off. One little thing after another just kept piling on. Almost like they were sneaking up on you. Then before you knew it&#8230; BAM! One more thing topples<br />
the house of cards and you feel like you just can&#8217;t take it anymore. Life is so unfair!</p>
<p>We all have our up days and our downer days. It&#8217;s only natural. You are not alone. Depression is fairly prevalent in the population and is on the rise.By 2020, it is predicted that <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.upliftprogram.com/depression_stats.html" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Depression will be the second largest killer</span></a> after heart disease.<span id="more-514"></span></p>
<p><strong>Now that is depressing news!</strong></p>
<p>It doesn&#8217;t have to be this way however. I will admit that some people have a genetic or chemical predisposition towards depression, DO need medication, and should definitely seek medical help. However, I do believe that the vast<br />
majority of depressed people do not need medication to overcome their own depression symptoms. They just need to <a href="http://www.insightwriter.com/2008/11/13/9-easy-ways-to-get-a-life/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">get a life!</span></a> <img src='http://www.healthmoneysuccess.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';-)' class='wp-smiley' title="How To Remain Positive In A Sea Of Doubt" /> </p>
<p>I truly believe there are ways to remain positive in a sea of doubt. I believe the way to do it is to make some different lifestyle choices&#8230;</p>
<h3>1. *Get some exercise.*</h3>
<p>The benefits of exercise on mood have been well documented. You see, there are these really cool things called endorphins. These are produced when you get your heart rate up and they help you feel less stressed and more in control of your life. They are really neat little mood enhancers and it will benefit you greatly to start a regular exercise routine</p>
<h3>2. *Change your diet.*</h3>
<p>No, I am not advocating going on a diet. I am saying <strong>*change* </strong>your diet. The foods you eat really can impact your life. Some foods slow you down, some speed you up. Some make you feel good, others<br />
don&#8217;t. Food can sometimes have almost magical properties. Experiment a little. Although it&#8217;s expensive I know sushi gives me a good feeling after I eat it. Eliminate some things, add others. Monitor the results. You can see big improvements in this area!</p>
<h3>3. *Be social.*</h3>
<p>Friends and family have a very important part in helping you maintain your positive attitude. If they are good people, they will be there for you when the going gets rough. Through thick and thin. A strong group of friends is often the best medicine to keep those blues away!</p>
<h3>4. *Be active.*</h3>
<p>When you are busy working on a project it is hard to get depressed. When you are sitting around doing nothing it&#8217;s easy to get depressed. When you are creating value and something constructive for other people or yourself to enjoy it is hard to think about how depressed you are. So get a hobby or something.</p>
<h3>5. *Smile at the world, and the world smiles back.*</h3>
<p>Fake it till you make it right? Even if you aren&#8217;t feeling happy right now if you start forcing yourself to act that way you will start feeling that way. It is amazing how it works. This may be the hardest step to take because it is a mental step and requires the right attitude. Its a way of thinking that believes that even though its rainy today it will be sunny tomorrow. So buck up, lift that chin up, and smile at the world. <h3>Day 24</h3>
<p>Another 6 days had passed since I posted the updates of my <a href="http://www.healthmoneysuccess.com/460/day-18-of-30-days-challenge/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">challenge.</span></a> This is already day 24 of my 30 days challenge and there are only 6 more days to go.</p>
<p>Things are going well and I don&#8217;t see myself quitting on this challenge. Who will even think of <a href="http://www.healthmoneysuccess.com/313/do-you-give-up-easily/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">quitting</span></a> when they can see the finishing line in a 25 miles marathon? <img src='http://www.healthmoneysuccess.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' title="Day 24 Of My 30 Days Challenge + A Lesson From Mr Garlic" /> </p>
<h3>Stats</h3>
<p>I am weighing 148.06 lbs now. I haven&#8217;t <a href="http://www.healthmoneysuccess.com/423/10-tips-to-help-you-lose-weight-healthily/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">lost much weight</span></a> for this week, only a small difference of 0.74 lbs.<span id="more-490"></span></p>
<h3>Recipes</h3>
<p>I had stick to the same juice recipe I had from day 1 and I had only tried to vary the amount of vegetables that I add into the juice. Last week, Bonnierose had made a comment and recommended me some recipes and I had tried to add some of the ingredients that was mentioned in the recipe into my juice.</p>
<p>I had tried lemon but the taste of lemon actually covered all the other flavors of the fruits and vegetables. Another ingredient I tried was garlic. <strong>That was a killer!</strong> I was thinking that how much juice I could get from a teeny weeny size garlic, so I decided that 1 is not enough, so I added THREE garlic cloves into my veggie juice concoction.</p>
<p>When I drank the juice, I just went &#8220;BOOM!&#8221; It was too spicy and I even got choke a little. I knew that garlic can be spicy but not to that extent. I got a weird feeling in my chest that whole afternoon and I got a life lesson from Mr Garlic&#8230;</p>
