Have you ever tried to boast to your fellow colleagues and friends on the hours you work, the amount of nights you burn to complete your work or the amount you spent on your branded goods.

It is interesting to observe that if it’s possible to work shorter hours, you will be happier. If you are able to avoid burning the mid night oil, you would choose not to burn the mid night oil. The Miracle Morning Challenge

The most important part of the day is the morning. This is the part of the day that will allows you to spend time with yourself and do things that truly matters to you with minimal interruptions.

I have recently read The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod and I think this is a wonderful book. The main points of the book is to ensure that we take control of our morning and ensure that we are able to get the important things done so that we can become a person that success is being attracted to us.

What Is The Key That Helps You Get The Results That You Want?

There are many factors that are essential to creating the results that you want. I found that one key success for me that allows me to create a 6 figure income is that I am able to do the boring things repeatedly while maintaining focus.

Getting fit and slimming down involves eating healthy and exercising regularly. It can be summarised in a sentence however, this is a billion dollar industries that churns out new workout videos and fad diets that always call out to the consumers. But if you are able to do the fundamentals well which is eating smaller portion of meals with good quality food instead of junk food, and also exercise at least 1 hour for 5 days a week, naturally you will lose weight. Journey Into Minimalism

Over consumerism creates anxiety and bring stress to your life. Majority of us are subconsciously buying things that we don’t need and we get things to impress people who don’t care about us.

I’ve decided to try a little experiment of throwing at least an item a day. The aim of this experiment is to bring awareness into my life about the things that I own and also to clear out the clutters.

It has already been 12 days straight. I have not break my streak of throwing at least a single item a day. In fact, the likelihood of throwing more then a single item is very common and it occurs almost everyday.

I am still in the midst of doing this experiment and I’m already starting to feel good about my space as it is much neater then before. It also makes me more aware of the choices I made for my purchases. Continue reading

Be A Salesperson

Jim Rohn once said about if someone starting out would like to get a higher income faster than average, get a sales job. However, people have misconceptions about a sales role.

What Jim Rohn hand mentioned is definitely something that I agree with. In a sales role there are bound to be commissions. Commissions are the reason why you are able to leap frog your peers to getting the extra income.

In a normal job, the only way to get a higher income is to ensure that you get your promotion and get a fat bonus at the end of the year. However, there are many uncertainties in this equation. The big problem lies in how much control you have over your bonuses and promotions.

A sales role with individual commissions will allow you to decide how hard you want to work to get the extra income. Even though a salesperson is still an employee, the variable factor is there for him or her to decide how much to earn.
