@Hi Bonnie Rose,

You did warn me and I think I still went a bit too much on the garlic but now I know what to do whenever I catch a cold ;)

@Hi Ola,

Thanks for sending me the link for the recipes. It is going to be helpful.

Cheers

hi vincent!

well done on your trial! you're almost there... fingers crossed :)

yes, garlic can be quite powerful, watch out for ginger as well - it can overpower anything else you add into your juice and can get pretty hot!

here are some other simple juice recipes if you're running out of ideas:

Hi Vincent,

Sorry to hear my garlic suggestion didn't go down to well! I did warn you about the heat ;)

I think my problem when I've done juice & raw food diet trials is that I don't particularly like sweet fruits, and I'm the type of person that gets cold easily (also, I live in the UK where it is often cold and damp!). So whenever I've tried raw & juicing experiments I tend to go crazy with garlic and cayenne pepper to add some heat :)

However, if you're ever coming down with a cold, I expect my garlicy juice recipe would clear your head (provided you can drink it :D).
