@Hi Clinton,

Henry Ford is definitely a great role model that we could learn from. The key is not to give up in face of adversity, only those who learn from their mistakes and be persistence in their pursuit of success will eventually achieve it.

Cheers

Hey Jared,
I agree there. People DO spend a lot of time complain about the past. Some of the popular ones are, "ah I should of invested in oil back in 19..." or "Should of never got into that, look at all the money I lost..damn...". Thing is, these people are still making the same mistakes at this very moment, and in 10 years they'll complain about what they should of done now.

Kind of crazy how so many people are that shallow. If you focus on the negatives and dwell on them, you'll only become weaker. The exact opposite of what failure is suppose to do for you. "What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger."

It's true that failure is one of the best teachers. Think of how vulnerable you'd be if you never failed at something. How easy would it be to "nudge" you off the edge if you haven't fallen before. Success also teaches a great lesson. It teaches you why you're doing what you're doing.

"If you ignore the gentle nudge from Life, you will soon find that Life will throw you a bigger lesson to you and that is where the real crisis will happen. Major crisis such as facing bankruptcy or landed in a hospital bed."

This makes a lot of sense. How are you going to deal with life's pressures unless you know what can go wrong and how to prevent it? To gain such knowledge you must have failed before. Henry Ford failed five times before making a success. Sad to say, most of us would quit the first or second time. His reward for his persistence was a company that outlived him for two life times.

Awesome post! Love your blog mor and more every post I read!

Cheers

Failure and danger is a powerful wake up call in life.
From suffering, I learn to become stronger. I have developed my study skills and learned about personal finance. Now it's time to rule the world!

Hi Raymond,

I believe having both success and failure in life is important. Failures allow us to learn from our mistakes where as success let us celebrate our triumphs and also letting us learn what works, so that we can adhere to it.

Cheers

I benefit a lot from both my success and failure.

I celebrate my success and learn from my failure and I really think that we need both of them to live in a complete life. What do you think?

Hi Jared,

If we look at the positive learning experience after a setback, we will find that we had learned so much things and these are the things we can only learn through adversity.

Always look on the bright side of life! ;)
