Review Your Goals

It is not enough to have your goals set in place. You need to take action. Lastly, you need to review everyday.

Many people do a once a year review and expect things to do well. Well, it’s not the best way of achieving your goals. You don’t plant a seed, ignore it for one year and come back to see whether has it bear fruits. You plant the seed, put in the work to water it everyday and ensure the weeds are out of your garden everyday. You pay close attention to it every single day till your seeds bear fruits in a year time.

Yet, many make the mistake of not reviewing their day consistently. If you review once a year, you can only make changes to your strategy in a year time. It is too slow.what if you are moving in the wrong direction? Isn’t it better it change your direction if you know it in a day instead of a year?

The one who review their actions and strategies everyday will be able to react faster and set their sail in the right direction. This equates to reaching your goals faster due to reviewing everyday and making minor shift in your directions to ensure you are on track.

If you have set your goals, well done. You are already on track for the year. The next step is to review your action everyday. Write down what you did everyday that will lead you closer to your goals. Are you moving further or nearer? If you are moving nearer, good. Continue doing what you are doing. If not, make changes immediately. Only with a daily review system in place, you will be able to keep track of your direction like having a compass in a jungle.
