One Common Question That People May Ask You About Your Goals

Leave the first response Posted in Personal Development

one common question people ask you about goals

“Why do you want to achieve this goal of yours?”

Someone asked me this question – why do I want to achieve this particular goal of being a millionaire and also my Epic Quests.

I was caught by surprise when I heard that question, but I gave some thoughts to the question.

I have some ready answers such as:

  1. To live a lifestyle that is not bound by monetary issues.
  2. To buy anything that I want.
  3. To prove to myself that wealth and abundance can be created from zero.

These are valid answers behind the reasons to my goal but I believe that the real reason behind my goal is that I simply just want to achieve it.

One important question that I asked myself is, “if I don’t achieve this goal of mine before I die, will I regret it?

The answer is a firm Yes. That’s it. I think that is a good enough answer for me to go pursue my goal.

Will You Regret If You Don’t Do It?

Sometimes you don’t need to answer to anyone on why you want to achieve your goals. You may have some reasons to show for it, but in the end, you have to follow your heart.

Instead of thinking of reasons of why you need to achieve your goals, ask yourself the question, “will you regret if you don’t achieve __________ before you die?”

If your answer is a resounding yes, then just proceed to work on your goals. Don’t even think of answering to others and think of 101 reasons to justify your goal.

You don’t need to reason and justify your goals. These are your goals and others do not have the rights to question you. As long as you believe that you have to do it before you die (without hurting anyone during the process of course), then just go ahead and do it.

You have only one life to live and there isn’t too much time for you to waste. Live the life you always wanted and go on to work on your dreams and goals.
Just Do It!
