This Is Your Life And They Have No Rights To Tell You How To Live

I don’t have a clue to what you are doing but I know you will fail.

Goal seekers are dreamers and dreams don’t come true.

Artists are starves and they are poor.

You must be very talented or a genius in order to write a book. You ain’t both so you can’t write.

You have to find a job.

Chocolates are good for your health.

Find a job, get married, settle down and wait for death.

Travelling overseas is dangerous.

You can’t do _____, because you don’t have a relevant college degree.

I’m afraid of this, and you should be afraid too.

I had failed once, let me tell you now that you are going to fail.

Are You Living Your Life Or Other People’s Life

There are tons of free advice out there and many people will try to impost their rules and limitations on you. If you are not careful, you can easily fall into their way of thinking and you will be trapped in their false rules and limitations. One key to living free in life is to make sure that you guard against these people. These are the people who will gladly offer you the shackles to trap you in their own world.

Seeking advice is good. But one must always be aware of the source of advice coming from. Just like you don’t take financial advice from a carpenter, I don’t expect you to to take advice from someone who haven’t achieve what you want to achieve.

There are tons of free advice from people who haven’t even tried what you want to do and people who had failed. If you tell them any of your endeavors that you are about to take, they will beat you down with 101 reasons why you will fail. Why would you believe them if you know they themselves haven’t even tried? Their failure also doesn’t equates to your failure.

They may mean good because they don’t want to see you fail. But their form of kindness is cruel to your dreams and goals. You only have a limited amount of time on earth and you have only one life to spare. Live your own life. Others have no rights to tell you how to live your life.

When people offer to give me free advice to destroy my dreams, I’ll say, “No thanks, I have a life to live and a dream to fulfill.”

I agree with you. It is not bad to take the advice of other people. However, we need to ask ourselves if that advice is really for our good or not.

In the end, it is you who will reap the rewards of everything you’ve done so it is better to go ahead and do it than to try to live up to the opinion of others.

Living up to the opinion of others is a way to belittle ourselves. Why not live free from their expectations and live with our own rules? :)
