Great blog. :) My cousin told me long ago that if you know you look in good shape, you'll automatically be more confident about everything you do, be it work related endeavors or winning over the opposite sex.

Till then,

Not only will exercising make you feel good but you'll also be able to know that you are taking care of your body, which while you are young may not be your top priority but once you hit 50 it'll definitely be a priority then. I always believe in preventing things before they happen so in order to prevent all kinds of health issues such as high cholesterol, diabetes, or even certain kinds of cancer prevent now so that you'll be better off later on.

As a student, I sometimes have weeks where my scheduling is crazy and it just gets really stressful. During those times, I contemplate whether or not I should throw in a 30 mins run and while I dread starting out, once I get going I'm completely pumped! That energy afterwards is channeled into studying and it really gets my brain going.

Yeah. I agreed that exercising really makes us feel better and it's always refreshing after a run. The refreshing feelings makes our brain think better and feel calmer in ourselves.

I'll often do a bit of working out and some stretching every day. Helps with my back and makes me feel a little better.

Hi Oscar.

You are right about not buying anything. Getting some expensive exercise equipment right after starting seems like a good idea, but you never know what habits you will take on, or whether the thing you buy is worth it. Leaving these items to be purchased later on lets you start with a regular exercise regimen, and then you can upgrade to using some advanced things like the special push-up bars.

Good to hear from both of you.

I think time is the biggest excuse i've heard. But if one were to examine how they actually spend there time, most will see that they do have time. It's just a matter of rearranging some activities. If you make time to exercise you will in turn be more effective. Which in turn actually gives you more time to do other things.

Thanks for the article Oscar.

Cheers,
Rishi
