While following your intuition can sometimes lead to great things, I don’t agree that it is something that we should make a point of doing more. Making too many gut instinct decisions can get us into trouble. Some people just naturally make bad decisions when they don’t stop to think things through more carefully. So you have to pay attention to the results of your instinctive decisions. Not everyone is a natural leader who can make sound decisions on the fly.

Ok, I think I have to spill my guts on this one. Usually, when I find myself in a situation where I have to choose between to things, I turn to my inner self and ask for a very simple request… “Give me a sign, dude!” Yeah, something like that. After a few hours or a few days, I’ll notice something and I will remember the problem I was having. When my gut gives me a positive feeling, that’s the time that I’ll make a decision. Works pretty well so far. =)

My gut instincts have served me well in the past. However, there are instances when it go against me. Perhaps I need to trust myself more or be positive about my instincts.

Yes, intuition can seem silly at times. But more often than not, it’s turned out to be the right decision to follow my gut. I’ve already lost count of the number of times my gut has helped me to achieve what I want. And I’d be sure to carry on seeking help from this great inner consultant of mine.

Indeed, intuition is a funny thing. And it’s also one of the most sophisticated tools you’d ever consult. Donald Trump once remarked, “Experience taught me a few things. One is to listen to your gut, no matter how good something sounds on paper.”

Intuition does work. Anyone should learn to listen to it.

I’m not sure if there’s any scientific explanation to it but I’ve learned to trust my own gut despite the lack of scientific logic. It has served me well over the years so it plays a big part in many of my decision making.

Learning to trust the voice in my head has been huge for me.
Like probably everyone reading this there’s been time when you get a thought ‘do this’ and you say no no there’s no reason for that… but soon after something happens and you say ‘if only i had listened!’
These days I try to always trust my instincts even if they seem silly at the moment, sometimes I don’t see any benefit from it but sometimes its really worth it. I’ve even had a few awesome encounters where I decided just to walk in whatever direction my gut told me to while in an unfamiliar city, if you just follow your intuition you can be surprised by some awesome synchronicitys and chance encounters.
I think its one of those things, the more you listen to it, the louder it gets!
