I love the list and how you presented it...Very inspiring..Except for #22 Winners dream in the day...I thought winners have goals not dreams; they work on days and don't indulge on inconsequential activities...

#31? Winners spend money on Seminars? I've attended many a seminar that is only trying to get you to buy something. I walked away while the crowd went and followed the seminar leader. Only the seminar leader gains. Classes are great if you go to an accredited institution. I would say that losers attend seminars and people who attend seminars are followers which also falls under #27 and #28.

Hardly any of this is striking. It's very similar to being optimistic of pessimistic. If you focus your energy on a positive and productive life, chances are that is what will happen to you. Unfortunate circumstances do come about from negative outside influences but it is up to you to manipulate those into positive actions in your life.

Just wanted to point out a small error, pending subjectivity. Winners are certain. losers doubt. Doubting is perhaps the best example of critical thinking to utilize on a regular basis. Not to say that it should be the end game for anyone, but doubting at least allows you to think about what you should do to allow yourself the confidence to complete it. You can learn a lot through doubting, and you wont learn much from being certain, unless we are living in an imaginary "fixed" system.

I love this. While I recognize I'm in both sides here in different areas, I've made it a goal to strive to fit all the things on the winner side. Ironically, before EVER seeing this. Self improvement is a priority for me and that's the best way to do it.

Great little article thing there, for sure.

The list puts fourth the overly simplistic but very common view that winning is all about how YOU think and act. The reality is its about how you think and act AND about the environment you live in. Both effect you and that is a fact. Most people don't like to think about that because they consider it negative thinking but in fact its the positive way to think. When we realize our environment does effect our success and failure in life then we can act to change it so it helps us more and hinders us less.

Vince,
great article contrasting the winning mindset against the losing mindset. This is exactly the sort of thing that we're exploring with our new site: mindOfChampions.com.

I like your simple side by side list comparison of what we do when we when and what we do when we lose. Our choice each day then becomes working on staying on that left side, in the winning mindset and making those championship choices where actions produce our intended results.

Good stuff. All the best,
Shawn
