I am not a great fan of Sylvester Stallone’s, but the Rocky stories are inspirational in their own right, I agree on that. Going forward, no matter how hard you get hit is definitely the way to become a winner. We are back to the dont quit easily concept here, and there is great merit in that. Inspiraional stuff, thank you for sharing!

Hey Clinton,

I love that quote too. He really knows what he is talking about and Sylvester Stallone in real life really hits rock bottom before he made Rocky.

This quote really teaches us about how we can achieve success. Life really hit us hard and I see that people who are successful have their fair share of challenges. But they did not give up and just keep on going forward to get the results they want.

Persistence is definitely one of the key to success and Rocky really gave us a valuable lesson about life.

I’ve always loved Rocky’s quotes and stories.
Makes you feel strong. And that part about believing in yourself, VERY TRUE: If you pay to win and you get beaten down, you have to remember the past successes and other times where it seemed grim but you somehow got through and made it. Remembering stuff like that gives a person hope, because no matter what it takes, if you really want it, you’ll get it.

This quote I really liked:
“You, me or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit. It ’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done.”

Rocky knows what it means to be at the bottom, he knows the what he’s talking about.

Thanks for posting this article. I am so frustrated with struggling to search out relevant and intelligent commentary on this subject. Everyone nowadays goes to the terribly far extremes to either drive home their viewpoint that either one) everyone else in the world is wrong, or two that everyone but them doesn’t “really perceive” the situation. Thank you for your consise, relevant insight.
