Excuses? What are your excuses?

1 Comment Posted in Personal Development

Excuses or results? How many times have we complained about we we are too young, too old, too poor or too tired to do something? We got such a long list of excuses to prevent ourselves from achieving what is the best for us? We are doing the damage to ourselves when we are using excuses.

So after watching the video above, what do you think? Is the guitarist above making an excuse for not playing the guitar because he is without his hands? No way, when you see the way he play. He proves to us that it is not a matter of facts, it is the matter of attitude that counts. It is how hungry you are for something that makes you strive to achieve it.

Instead of looking for excuses for why you can’t do it, what about looking for reasons that proves to you why you can do it. How many times have we seen failures that turns into success?

  • Michael Jordan cut from his basketball team in his sophomore years and he turns out to be the greatest basketball players of all time.
  • Donald Trump resurgence from bankruptcy.
  • Oprah Winfrey after so much ordeals ( abuse, rapes, so poor in her younger days that she wore dresses make from potato sacks ) became so successful and influential.

These are some of the examples that shows great determination and perseverance to fight against all odds to reach their goals. May their stories inspire and empower you.
